A little bit of background on the founder of this blog:
Alex Baker is a technology addict with a firm belief that knowledge should be accessible to all.  He has spent time working in IT (and enjoys it) but was trained as a physical chemist with a speciality in molecular simulations.  Sounds dull eh? To supplement the tedium, Alex began researching and writing on various subjects, hoping that his passion for innovations on the web and elsewhere would banish the “it’s just not for me” excuse against enjoying technology.  Finally in his appropriate position as a technologist, Alex lives in New York City, with a lovely wife and a small, but also lovely, apartment.
